Keith Maio is Executive Vice President and Chief Banking Officer of Zions Bancorporation. In these roles, Keith is responsible for retail banking, wealth management and mortgage lending. He is also the Chairman of the Board for National Bank of Arizona and serves on the Zions Bancorporation Executive Management Committee. Keith has been in the banking industry for 35 years and joined National Bank of Arizona in 1992 in the Commercial Lending Department. From 1999 to 2001, he managed the NB|AZ® Real Estate Division. Keith was appointed to President of National Bank of Arizona in 2001 and was named Chief Executive Officer in 2005. He earned a BBA in Finance and Accounting from the University of New Mexico and is a graduate of the Pacific Coast Banking School in Seattle.

 

Community Involvement

An active member of the community, Keith is currently President of the Board of Trustees at Xavier College Prep and Vice Chairman of the Catholic Community Foundation. He also serves on the Board of Directors and is Treasurer for the Christian Service Awards Committee and Paradise Valley Country Club. Previously, he served as Chairman of the Arizona Bankers Association and as a Board Member of Phoenix Children’s Hospital Foundation, Pacific Coast Banking School, Arizona State Board of Appraisal and the Arizona Heart Association.
