Deborah Bateman

Deborah Bateman serves as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors for National Bank of Arizona . Her current responsibilities include leadership of the Bank’s Advisory Board of Directors, as well as community engagement and relations. A veteran banker, Deborah’s career has spanned numerous leadership capacities. She is a graduate of Mesa Community College, Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington, and Darden’s Leadership Development Program at the University of Virginia.
Community Involvement
An active member of the community, Deborah has served on more than 30 nonprofit boards. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Sandra Day O’Connor Institute, GPD American Heart Association, The Arizona Historical Society, the Business Advisory Board for Mesa Community College, and the Advisory Board for the Foundation for Living Medicine. In addition, she is a member of the Go Red For Women - Executive Leadership Team for the American Heart Association and AZ Charter 100. Deborah’s commitment and involvement in the community have garnered numerous recognitions and awards, such as:
